Teletherapy
Is virtual therapy a good fit for you?
1
Do you have reliable access to a strong internet connection?
This will be important for us to connect virtually without technical difficulties.
2
Do you have a private space to meet virtually?
Having a space where you feel comfortable meeting with a therapist without worries of being overheard is a priority.
3
Are you currently in a mental health crisis?
If so, teletherapy will not be an adequate form of mental healthcare for you. I need to ensure you are safe and have access to the level of care that is most appropriate for your current mental health support needs.
“Access to good healthcare should not depend on where you are.”

FAQs
Can I use my insurance for teletherapy?
Yes, you absolutely can. I am currently not accepting insurance for my services, but I do offer income-based sliding scale payment options.
Can we work together if I don’t live in North Carolina?
Sadly, no. I am only licensed to practice in North Carolina. While there is a movement to allow therapists to have national licensure, this has not become reality just yet!
Can we still meet if I’m not at home?
It depends. If you are still in North Carolina, have a private space to meet, and can provide me with the address you are at for safety precautions - we can still have our virtual therapy session. If you are traveling out of state, driving, or otherwise do not have a private space to meet - we will have to reschedule for when you are back home.
